Should I take a hands-off approach with people or actively guide, coax, lead, inspire, influence or push them in certain directions? In my view, it’s like with plants: You need to water them once in a while, but other than that, you let them be and they grow by themselves. People grow the quickest when they are loved (watered) and then let be. Tugging, pulling and twisting the plant will hurt it.
